Final Report Of AA Audit Ready Soon -NCAA
The first phase of the Federal Airport Authority/International Air Services Assessment ended yesterday even as Nigeria still retained it’s Category 1 status.
The Director General of Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, Capt. Muhtar Unman who revealed this at press briefing in Lagos Friday said that during the visit which started in Monday some findings an observation were made by the officials from the United State.
According to him preliminary report on the findings and observations will be written by the officials within 30 days.
Unman also stated that final report on the audit visit will also be written within 65 days.
He was however optimistic that Nigeria will excel and the country will retain it’s status.
On the delay in the much touted certification of Airports in the country the NCAA boss attributed the delay to Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria.
He noted that the April this year date earlier set by the Authority was based on the projection of Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria.
According to him, Certification well be carried out soon based on the safety measures put in place by the Airport Operator.
