5 In Police Net For Stealing Female Underwear For Money Rituals
Operatives of Lagos State Police Command have arrested five suspected ritualists for stealing female underwear for rituals purposes in Lagos.
The police in a statement on Sunday by Police spokesperson, Bala Elkana, a Deputy Superintendent of Police said that the incident happened on January 10, 2020, at about 0800hrs.
According to him, acting on information, the operatives from Ojo Police Station arrested one Chukwajekwu Eziigbo ‘m’ 15yrs old of Ilufe area Ojo for stealing female underwears from clothesline.
He said the suspect confessed that for one year now, he has been stealing female underwear from different houses in Ojo and environs and he usually hand over those stolen underwears to the following female suspects for a payment.
The suspects were identified as Chidima Obietuake 17years old: Chikwaka Chidima Jemfe, 17years old: Gold 23years old and Akomas Amarachi ‘ 26years old, all of Ilufe area, Ojo.
Bala said the suspects have been arrested and they confessed to the commission of the crime.
However, detectives recovered some stolen female underwear from the suspects.
Meanwhile, Investigation is ongoing and the suspects will be charged to court after the investigation is over.
