LAISA Stocks Fertiliser For Farmers Ahead Of Planting Season
The Lagos State Agriculture and Input Supply Authority, LAISA, has procured a large amount of fertiliser and made it available in all its farm centres across the State in preparation for the planting season.
The General Manager of LAISA, Mr. Bolaji Balogun, made the disclosure recently at an interactive session with farmers in Ojo, Lagos, stating that the importance of fertiliser in farming, especially during the planting season, made it compelling for the Agency to provide fertiliser to farmers for boosting the harvest of farm produce.
Balogun said that the commitment of the State Government to continually support farmers in ensuring an adequate supply of food to residents of the State informed the decision to purchase the fertilisers which would, in turn, be sold to farmers at affordable prices.
He, therefore, implored all farmers in the State to take advantage of this opportunity before the planting season by visiting any of the LAISA farm centres in Lagos.
