FAAN Warns Against Fake Recruitment Scams
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has warned the public against a recruitment scam circulating on social media.
The scam involves fake websites and social media pages claiming to be FAAN, offering employment opportunities and requesting that they pay a fee for the application process.
FAAN spokesperson Abdullahi Yakubu-Funtua, in a statement on Monday, disclosed that the commission is not currently recruiting any new employees and has not authorised any third-party agencies to conduct recruitment on its behalf.
Yakubu-Funtua, however, urges the public to be vigilant and desist from patronising the fake recruiters to avoid being scammed.
