Ekiti Guber Race : Group Canvasses Support For Ojudu
The Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on political matters, Senator Obafemi Ojudu has been described as a gubernatorial material whose vision is capable of rescuing Ekiti state from the path of destruction they said has been brought upon the state by the ruling Peoples Democratic Party government in the state.
Addressing newsmen in Osogbo, the convener of Ojudu for Governor 2018 Movement, Comrade Adebayo Joshua-Olusegun described as accidental the present government of Ekiti state under the leadership of Governor Ayodele Fayose.
He accused Governor Fayose’s administration of mismanaging the state’s fortunes since assumption of office by embarking on stomach infrastructure for his cronies above physical infrastructural development
The Movement lamented the deplorable state of the socio-economic activities under the watch of Governor Ayodele Fayose, asserting that there is need for a visionary leader to rescue the state from the path of destruction being plunged into by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led government in the state.
They implored discerning minds and well meaning people to hobnob Senator Obafemi Ojudu whom it described as a ‘God’s sent’ fellow to rescue the state from being damned and mortgaged.
He said, “We have painstakingly carried out our research and found out that the only antidote to the problem currently facing our state is for us to choose a visionary leader, whose political pedigree and social antecedents remained unquestionable.
