The candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) reclaimed his seat with 66,667 voters to beat retired Air Commodore Yusahu Salisu of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 6,323 votes.

Announcing the Doguwa Tudun Wada federal constituency result early Sunday morning, returning officer Professor Mansur Auwalu Bindawa declared that Alhassan Ado Doguwa polled the highest number of votes and returned winner.

The Kaduna Division of Appeal Court nullified the victory of Doguwa in November 2019 and ordered fresh election across the 357 polling units.
