Disc Jockeying Is A Rewarding Profession, Says DJ Tplanet

Creative Deejay, Tolu Idowu, famously called DJ Tplanet has described disc jockeying as an economically rewarding profession among its equals.
He made the description recently during a chat with entertainment correspondents in Lagos saying disc jockeying is a lucrative business like others in Nigeria’s showbiz industry of which practitioners are not paupers.
Idowu added that the business of playing and mixing recorded music at nightclubs, over the radio or hip hop performers is a serious enterprise guided by the association’s rules and regulations.
“Our association, Deejays Association of Nigeria (DJAN) is the regulatory body like PMAN, FIBAN, VROAN, ANTP and MAAN which are equally entertainment related associations for instance”, he posited.
DJ Tplanet also disclosed that he is talented though, he learnt the trade from DJ Oland five years ago.
The Badagry, Lagos State born Tplanet looks forward to working on a first class radio station across the nation in his quest to promote upcoming acts as he appreciates DJ Neptune as his role model.
