Couple In Police Net For Inserting Bottle Into Ex-lover’s Genital
Operatives of the Ogun state Police Command on Monday said the have arrested a couple, Osas Onyeokweni and his wife Tomisin for allegedly inserting empty bottle of an aphrodisiac drink, “alomo bitters” in the genital of his former girlfriend in Ogun state.
Onyeokwenu and his wife were said to have molested the 20-years old girl (name withheld) at Lusada town in the Ado – Odo/Ota local government area of the state after they had successfully lured her into an uncompleted apartment where the wife also used scissors to tear her clothes, leaving her naked.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed the the incident to newsmen yesterday in Abeokuta, the state capital said the couple were arrested following a complaint lodged by the victim at the Agbara Police Divisional headquarters.
She reported that her ex-lover, Osas Onyeokweni who is now married to her friend, Tomisin summoned her on phone to an important meeting in the area.
“On getting to the agreed place, Osas wife, who was armed with scissors used the scissors to tear her dress and naked her. After she has been naked, Osas held her down while his wife inserted an empty bottle of ‘alomo bitters’ into her private part”.
“They also snapped her naked picture and threatened to upload it on the internet if she dares report to anyone”.
Oyeyemi further stated that the couple, upon interrogation, admitted to committing the crime and further confessed that they regretted their action.
PPRO also said that the Commissioner of Police in the state, Kenneth Ebrimson, who has vowed never to allow any violence against women go un-investigated, has directed that the suspects be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.
