Company Donates Facemasks And Antiseptic Hand Wipes To Ekiti State Government
The Ekiti State Commissioner for Health and Human Services Dr Oyebanji Filani recently received some Facemasks and Antiseptic Wipes donated by Wemmy Industries Limited.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr Akinjide Akinleye said the presentation was commendable and called for further partnership between the company and the state.
The Southwest Regional Manager of the Company Mr John Egbedofo said that the donation was in fulfillment of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Mr Egbedofo disclosed that the company was donating 108 cartons of disposable Surgical Face Masks and 72 cartons of antiseptic hand wipes as their contribution to curtail the spread of the deadly Covid-19 virus.
He said the items would be distributed to the State Ministry of Health, Oba Adejugbe General Hospital Ikole, Ikere State Specialist Hospitals, Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital and Federal Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti.
