Family of slain Pastor of Celestial Church of Christ, Grace of Comfort Parish, Omitoto, Ilode, Ile-Ife, Snr Evangelist Morris Fadehan has called on the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun to wade into the alleged murder of their bread winner.
The family, at a press conference addressed by the deceased’s daughter, Fadehan Ayotomiwa in Osogbo on Tuesday said though Lekan Ogundipe who allegedly made confessions was arrested in connection with the murder, more needed to be done.
Recall that late Evangelist Fadehan was gruesomely murdered in broad-day inside CCC, Grace of Comfort, Ilode, Ile-Ife on Monday, February 26, 2024.
The family expressed with dismay the sudden interest in the case shown by some prominent figures in the state adding that since the inception of the case, some members of the family have been receiving several strange calls asking them to drop the case.
“We are of the opinion that if police could be determined to intensify their investigation on the broad-day killing, more culprits could be arrested”
The family noted that Lekan could not have carried out the dastardly act alone without the assistance of
some people of like mind with him
Sobbing profusely, Ayotomiwa Fadehan who called on NGOs and International community to lend voices to their predicament said life has been miserable for the immediate members of the family since the death of their breadwinner.
