Chopper Crash: Ooni Rejoices With Survivors
Ooni of Ile-Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi has expressed his appreciation to God for averting the calamity that would have befallen the nation with the crash landing of the chopper that had the Vice President and his aides on board.
A statement by the Director, Media & Public Affairs, Ooni’s palace, Mr Moses Olafare stated that the monarch rejoiced with the survivors and the entire nation over the crash landing chopper noting that the nation would have been thrown into National calamity but for God’s intervention.
“While rejoicing with all the survivors, their families, government and the people of Nigeria on this God’s miracle, the Ooni of Ife urges all Nigerian politicians to remain unshaken and continue with their electioneering activities without any fear, wishing them divine grace of protections before, during and after elections.
“Ooni Ogunwusi also prays Nigerians will in the year 2019 witness unprecedented economic prosperity, great security and safety improvement, very healthy political stability and tremendous peaceful coexistence as a people.
