BBN: Bisola, Kemen Emerge Winners In Indomie Cooking Competition

Day two of Big Brother Naija was interesting as it was Uriel’s Birthday and Biggie threw her a surprise party which Bisola and the housemates set up while she had an emotional “Birthday Blues”Diary. Uriel, singer and hair stylist  became the house leader after Warri boy, Efe smartly turned it down.

All housemates were to sing and sign on her birthday cards. The cards are to be returned back to the Diary Room with there massages and signatures for her. All carried the assignment out except for Bally, the ex-civil servant. Bally was last night seen showing a positive attitude towards Uriel’s actions in the house. Bally reached the venue and admitted how he is less interested and not concerned about the general celebration. “I am less concerned about this,” Bally tells Soma.

Later the housemates were called for the Indomi cooking challenge. Interesting team One comprising of Bisola and Kemen performed the best cook. They cooked there local, Bisola handled the cooking so Kemen explained to Biggie and fellow housemates on the spices used in “indomi” noodles which were very good because they take short time cook. “We did Eggs, vegetables, pepper, kidney plus some fish and carrots,we put vegetables inside the eggs to symbolise buggies eye and the carrots to represent Oga “PAYPORTE” colours,” Kemen concluded. In addition to their “indomi”, they added some juice with ice cubes to cool the pepper while eating the meal.

Team Two was made of Uriel and Gifty, Team Three comprised of ThinTallTony and Marvis, Bally and CocoIce made team four while Soma and Miyonse made team five. Ironically Team five with Miyonse, a trained chef were also not able to come with their food though they wanted to make Nigerian local chicken source and noddles. Team Six with TBoss and Efe were also not able to come with the food due to luck of ample time.

Later they were instructed to taste each one food and stand behind the dish they think tasted best and it comes out to be Team One and Team Two on the game where Team one of Bisola and Kemen merged to be better Chefs. Biggie’s punishment was for them to still finish their meals and serve them as dinner. Some of the Housemates didn’t take lightly to losing such a seemingly simple cooking Task, and gathered around to discuss their reasons why.

With all 12 housemates in the house, viewers will keenly follow the intrigues, drama, excitement that is sure to play out in the next 11 weeks. The show is aired 24/7 in 45 countries from Nigeria through East, West and Southern Africa on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29.
