Babayemi Not An Impostor – Campaign Organisation
Dr. Dotun Babayemi Campaign Organization in Osun State has described the statement credited to the chairman of Osun Peoples Democratic Party PDP Caretaker Chairman Dr Adekunle Akindele who was said to have referred to Babayemi as an impostor as reckless.
Dr. Dotun Babayemi is a factional gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in the state.
director of media, Omooba Dotun Babayemi Campaign Organization, Mr. Kayode Oladeji, chided Akindele for disparaging Babayemi by calling him an impostor.
Akindele whose committee was inaugurated in Osogbo recently had promised to unite members of the party with a plea to the aggrieved ones to sheath their sword.
However reacting to the development, the governorship candidate’s campaign organization, frowned at the reckless use of words by someone who claimed to be neutral in the misunderstanding within the party
“Ordinarily, we would not have dignified him with any response but for the need to clear some lines between Babayemi who is exploring legal means to set records straight in Osun PDP and Akindele who is parading himself as Chairman of Caretaker Committee against the resolution of the National Working Committee of the party, who is an impostor? the organization demanded.
The campaign organization has however urged the party members to remain calm as the party would be victorious at the end; stressing, “Our current challenges will be our stepping stones to victory. Let’s just remain calm and be law-abiding”.
