I Paid N10.8m Tax In Three Years — Atiku

Nigeria’s opposition People’s Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has disclosed that he paid N10.8 million tax between 2015 and 2017.

According to the credentials he filed with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), he also declared a personal income of N60.2 million in three years.

Atiku has been able to submit all relevant documents, with a Diploma in Law in 1969 from the Ahmadu Bello University, which tops the highest amongst all of his qualifications.

The PDP presidential candidate has been campaigning and making known to Nigerians, his ability to create millions of jobs. According to him, he will conveniently do when he becomes president what he has done with his numerous companies.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Thursday, published the forms and particulars of presidential and National Assembly candidates of political parties that have been submitted for the 2019 general elections.

Meanwhile, the APC presidential candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari, has failed to attach necessary supporting documents to the forms he submitted to INEC, claiming that they are in the custody of the military.

Buhari, in the affidavit which he swore to says, “I am the above-named person and the deponent of this affidavit herein. All my academic qualification documents as filled in my Presidential form, APC/001/2015 are currently with the Secretary of the Military Board as of the time of this affidavit.”
