Osun APC Primary Election Panel Promised Credible Poll
Yari who was represented by Senator Ovie Omo-agege at the Osun State governorship primary stakeholders meeting held at the party secretariat in Osogbo yesterday assured all the aspirants that all the necessary logistics have been put in place to ensure a transparent poll.
He allayed the fear of the aspirants on the readiness of the panel considering the short time notice of direct primary to be adopted for the election that would come up today.
Omo-agege told the aspirants that Governor Yari would be on ground for the exercise today adding that there is adequate manpower for the successful conduct of the election.
On allegation raised by one of the aspirant, Barr. Kunle Adegoke that the road map for the manipulation of the primary election to favour a particular candidate, Omo-agege said there was nothing as such adding that all the electoral material were brought from Abuja.
Also speaking, the Deputy speaker, House of Representatives who is also an aspirant charged the panel to discharge it’s assignment without fear or favour.
He cautioned the supporters of one of the aspirants against hooliganism adding that no aspirant can solely win the election among all the aspirants.
All the seventeen aspirants who were present at the stakeholders meeting expressed their preparedness to participate in the election slated for today.
