APC Postpones Primary Election In Osun
A statement  made available to newsmen in Osogbo Wednesday by the Director of  Publicity,  Research and Strategy of the party Barr. Kunle Oyatomi stated that the exercise was postponed due to unforeseen development.
Recalled that the party had fixed Thursday for the proposed direct gubernatorial primary.
The adopted direct primary had generated reactions from various quarters, while commissioners and Special Advisers in the cabinet of governor Rauf Aregbesola applauded the option, no fewer than 14 of the 17 gubernatorial aspirants and chieftains of the party across the state rejected the option.
The Director said: “Due to unforseen development, the All Progressives Congress in the state of Osun has announced the postponement of the primary to choose its gubernatorial flagbearer for September 22 election that was supposed to hold tomorrow, July 19, 2018.
“The party regretted this development but promised that sooner than later, a new date will be fixed
ALL party members should be at alert”.
