Amoo rejoins 3SC as Technical Adviser

Nigeria Olympic team assistant coach, Fatai Amoo, has rejoined Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan ahead of the 2016/2017 Nigeria Professional Football League.
The unveiling of Amoo was done on Thursday at the office of the Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Abayomi Oke.
Coach Amoo, who took charge of the 3SC between 2009 and 2011, signed a two year-deal and is expected to commence work immediately.
Amoo, who just finished his CAF A Licence coaching course in Abuja, said he is very excited to return home as he promised he will make money his secondary priority, but would rather make name for himself, assuring that he would work to make the team great again in the continent.
He said: “I’m very excited by being appointed as Technical Adviser of 3SC as I don’t really have the fear because I know I’m back home and I feel very comfortable been in Ibadan.
“I’m ready to work with my coaching crew, they are very good people because we know each other very well and I believe we will get things right.
“I want to make name for myself and 3SC. I have travel a little bit and where ever I get to they always ask for Shooting Stars and Rangers and that tells 3SC is a big club and we must make it great again.
“I am ready to take up the task and by the grace of God, we will conquer.”
In his message, Oke said he was very please with the presentation of Coach Amoo.
He said: “He really has plan for the team because he was asking for future of the team and to commit himself to the team he signed two years deal with us and we are very happy.
“On our side, the welfare of the team will be our paramount.”
Also, the General Manager of the club, Rasheed Balogun, said they went for the right hand, the man that is used to the team and understands the club very well.
