Amokachi, Lawal, Babangida Storm Kano For Match-4-IDPs

Congo Democratic Republic’s former international, Cyril Mubiala lead the park of the first batch of Africa legends, who arrived the ancient city of Kano Wednesday ahead of today’s charity match to raise funds for the internally displaced persons across the country.

The other early birds were Daniel Amokachi, Garba Lawal and Tijjani Babangida.

According to the Coordinator of the legends, South Africa based Moo Mohammed Mustapha, the others which include, Benjamin Nwaruwari, Fabian McCarthy, Aaron Mokoena, Nwankwo Kanu, Mutiu Adepoju and Samson Siasia were also expected to have arrived for the match against former Nigeria league champion, Kano Pillars football club.

Meanwhile, the chief initiator and General Coordinator for Match-4-IDPs, Abi Goodman has revealed that all arrangements for the successful hosting of the match have been put in place.

Goodman commended the State government and the sports authorities in the State for their efforts towards a hitch free game.
