Africa Meets Reggae concert set to rock Lagos

Following the success of previous editions of Africa Meets Reggae music fiesta, the organizers have perfected all arrangements to have a better outing with this year’s edition.
This year’s festival has been outlined to accommodate all classes of Reggae music lovers.
It is scheduled to hold in Lagos.
The show, which has been tagged: “The People’s Show,” will take place at the Hockey Pitch of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos on November 26, 2016.
As part of the activities for the annual festival, selected artistes, including leading music stars – Nkulee Dube from South Africa, Tuface Idibia, Patoranking, Red Fadh from Ghana, Majek Fashek, Orishafemi, Seyi Shay, Presh, Victor Essiet and El Jay from the United States – are to participate.
Top Fuji lords, Alabi Pasuma and Sule Alao Malaika, are also on the bill to add fun and razzmatazz to the festival.
Victor Eshiet, who initiated the festival, while speaking recently on the concert confirmed it has come to stay in Africa.
According to Eshiet: “We are glad to have brought refreshingly new sound in the Reggae music industry across Africa through Africa Meets Reggae Concert.
“Each edition promises to offer something revitalising to the fans and we are promising that this year’s edition will even be more awesome.”
The festival has been celebrated annually in countries across Europe, Americas, Caribbean, Australia and New Zealand before berthing in Nigeria.
The international music festival, which has its birth in the United States of America, has its franchise given to Eshiet, better known as the Mandators, a Nigerian based in Los Angeles, California, United States.
