AFDB President, Adesina’s Father Dies At 96
The father of former Minister of Agriculture and current President of the Africa Development Bank (AFDB) Akinwunmi Adesina, Chief Roland Folorunso Adesina, has passed away at the age of 96.
A source close to the family confirmed that he died at about 7am on Wednesday at a private hospital in Ibadan.
Our correspondent reliably gathered that he had been ill for 12 days.
The late Chief Adesina was an accountant with the Ogun State Civil Service before his retirement.
