‘PDP, Adeleke Remain Resolute To Retrieve Mandate’
The Peoples Democratic Party in the South West has maintained that no amount of frivolous litigations, ridiculous antics and meretricious influence of the ruling All Progressives Congress can intimidate its governorship candidate in Osun state, Sen. Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke in reclaiming the stolen mandate of Osun people.
A statement made available to newsmen Sunday by the South West zonal Secretary, Rev. Bunmi Jenyo stated that  PDP under the chairmanship of Dr. Eddy Olafeso noted that all frivolous litigation against the candidature of Senator Adeleke will fail.
The zonal scribe said PDP made the  assertion “following the denial of one Mr. Ajayi Shuaib from Agbeye, in Odo-Otin local government, whose name was fraudulently listed as a litigant in the fresh suit FHC/OS/16/19 filed on Monday 13th May against Sen. Adeleke, PDP and INEC.
“This clears the air about the incessant and unnecessary filing of unsubstantiated suits by the agents of the ruling APC against the person of the true winner of September 22 gubernatorial poll in Osun, Sen. Adeleke and to bring the name of the incoming governor of Osun state, by GOD’s grace, into controversy and disrepute.
“Just as the affidavit deposed to by Mr. Ajayi Shuaib at the Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo, on Thursday 16th May is revealing, it also sent jitters down the spine of the unscrupulous elements that their games are up.
“The development as it is, brings a sigh of relief to genuine PDP members that the truth is always constant, though it may be concealed for the maintime.
“Without an iota of doubt, this is a stronger indication that all litigations concerning the certificate and personality of Sen. Adeleke will soon be scattered like the pack of cards, by Courts of competent jurisdiction.
“No matter the level of intimidation, litigations or threats in whatever form, Sen. Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke of the PDP shall reclaim the mandate of Osun people freely expressed on 22nd of September 2018, by the power and grace of God”
