Ogun To Be Transformed In The Next 365 Days- Abiodun

The present administration in Ogun State has assured of a full digital transformation that would afford government’s agencies an opportunity to keep and access records for effective administration, while ensuring better and efficient management of the State.

         The State Governor, Prince Abiodun who made this known at a reception organized in his honour by the Ijebu Heritage Group in Ijebu Ode, said this plan would enable the State align with global standards, saying, “we are going to ensure that in the next twelve months, you will be able to plug your device and actually enjoy free WiFi across the State. The process will start in the next two weeks’’.

         Abiodun disclosed that his administration would provide a befitting Primary Health Care centres in the 236 wards of the State for proper treatment of ailments, thereby reducing the pressure on secondary healthcare.

        He said that his government would create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive and invest in the security sector by providing an insurance policy for security officers, to make life better for their families, in case of occupational hazards.

        The Awujale of Ijebu land, Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Kayode Adetona, represented by the Dagburewe of Idowa, Oba Yinusa Adekoya, urged the Governor not to disregard the Ijebu Traditional Council, rule with equity and justice, in order to succeed.

        In his goodwill message, a former Governor of the State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, implored the present administration to look into the deplorable state of the Ijebu Ode International Stadium, a stadium which according to him was built, renamed and handed over to Mr. Mike Adenuga to manage, but was withdrawn by the immediate past administration, noting that this step had left the stadium in a deplorable condition.
