Sanwo-Olu Felicitates Dele Alake At 70
The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Mr. Dele Alake, on his 70th birthday.
Governor Sanwo-Olu, in a statement issued on Monday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, described Alake as a respected and dedicated journalist, communication strategist and administrator, who has become a role model to many in the media, politics and governance.
The Governor described Alake, former Commissioner for Information and Strategy of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007, as an epitome of uprightness, adding that his penchant for positive contribution towards development of Nigeria is laudable.
He also commended the Minister of Solid Minerals Development’s positive impact and contribution to the success of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda through the revolutions and transformations he’s carrying out in his ministry.
“On behalf of my family, the Government and the people of Lagos State, I congratulate the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Mr. Dele Alake, on his Platinum Jubilee celebration.
“Mr. Dele Alake deserves accolades at 70 for his remarkable contributions and positive impact on the media industry, political activism, Lagos State and Nigeria.
“As Mr. Dele Alake celebrates his 70th birthday, I pray that God will increase him in good health to enable him to render more service to humanity and Nigeria,” Governor Sanwo-Olu prayed.
