2027: Osun DLA Affirms Ambassador Olusoji As Party Presidential Candidate
Members of the Osun State chapter of the Democratic Leadership Alliance (DLA) on Thursday affirmed Ambassador Adebisi Moses Olusoji as the presidential candidate of the party.
The affirmation through voice vote presided over by the state presidential primary Returning Officer, Mr Olalekan Fabayo and monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) held at the party secretariat, Bicket Area, Osogbo.
Speaking shortly after the declaration exercise, the Osun State chairman of the party, Dr Oluwatosin Odeyemi expressed optimism that Ambassador Adebisi Moses Olusoji would emerge as the president of Nigeria, come 2027 charged members of the party to start grassroots mobilisation from now.
His words: “Nigerians have seen it all. Both APC and PDP have demonstrated their capacities, they’ve given us their best hands, it is time for a change.
“We need a pragmatic shift from old hands to a new beginning that will usher Nigeria into greater height in the comity of nations. That is exactly what we are here for.
Democratic Leadership Alliance is a party to trust. Our vision stands us out. We worked tirelessly to get the choice of our candidate right because we want to start the journey of 2030 in Osun in earnest”.
While congratulating Governor Ademola Adeleke on his victory at the polls in Osun, Odeyemi enjoined him to live up to the expectations of Osun people that voted him in.
