Two Die, Others Injured In Lagos Church Stampede
The Lagos State Police Command said on Friday that two people died during a stampede at the Comfort Life Mission International Church, Lagos.
Identities of the victims were unknown as of the time this report was filed. But it was gathered that the dead victims were a 45-year-old woman and a 5-year-old girl.
It was also learnt that five other persons who slumped during the incident were rushed to Isolo General Hospital for proper medical attention.
Contacted, the command’s Spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, also confirmed the incident to our correspondent.
Hundeyin said, “Yes, I confirm the incident. The families of the victims need to be aware first before I disclose their identities.’’
