RRS Reunites Dog With Owner, Hands Over Recovered Items
Rapid Response Squad (RRS) Tuesday handed over a Toyota Highlander, gun, a dog (America Eskimo breed) four laptops, a television, a standing fan, iphone 12 Pro Max, jewelry, among other items to a representative of Adigbe Police Station, Abeokuta, Ogun State, on the instruction of Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Abiola Alabi.
The recovered materials were handed over yesterday evening by the OC Decoy Team on behalf of Commander RRS, CSP Yinka Egbeyemi in the presence of some of the victims.
Present during the handing over were the owners of the Toyota Highlander and the dog as well as one of the laptops.
RRS patrol team had around 2:20 a.m. last week Wednesday accosted the robbers at Adura Bus Stop, Alagbado.
The four robbers on sighting RRS patrol vehicle abandoned the Toyota Highlander and other items and fled. It was gathered that the robbers started house to house robbery at Olounsogo – Sogbamu, a community near Ojere Campus, Abeokuta around midnight.
It was a remarkable moment when the dog, identified as Snow was re – united with her owner.
The owner stated that the dog was forcefully taken from him despite his plea to the robbers not to take his dog away.
