NCX Appoints 3 New Directors

 

The Nigerian Commodity Exchange, PLC, (NCX) has reconstituted its board and executive management with the appointment of three new directors that include Mrs. Aishah N. Ahmed , Dr. Angela Sere Ejembi and Mr. Philip Yila Yusuf.

A statement issued by Acting Head, Corporate Communications of the Exchange, Abiodun Sanusi, on Wednesday and sent to Solacebase said the appointment and retirement of directors was announced at an extra ordinary general meeting

It said Mrs. Ahmed was subsequently appointed Chairman, at the inaugural board meeting held on 4th January.

The statement said additional board appointment will be made in due course.

According to the statement, the newly reconstituted board with a Transition Management Team, headed by Mrs. Elenwor Ihua (Acting as Interim Coordinator) will temporarily oversee the operations of the Exchange, supervising an independent and transparent process to appoint a new executive management team.

‘’The core shareholders of the NCX, thank the outgoing Board and Executive Management for their patriotic service to the company and wished them the best in their future endeavors,’’ the statement said.
