Diddy Sells California Home For $7 million
Rapper P Diddy has sold the California home where his late ex-girlfriend and mother of three of his children, Kim Porter, died for $7million.
Kim Porter had maintained an on-off relationship with the rapper until 2007. She died of labour pneumonia in 2018, and her body was discovered on the property.
Real name Sean Combs, Diddy listed the property for sale three years after her death at a whopping $7million, $2million more than he paid for it in 2009.
P Diddy never lived in the home, which served as home to Kim and the three children they shared together, twin daughters Jessie James and D’Lila Star, and a son Christian.
However, reports state that the rapper never returned to the property after Porter’s death.
The New England-style property includes a series of A-list features, including a huge swimming pool, basketball court and a cinema room.
The sprawling luxury pad home comes with A-list neighbours as Viola Davis, Steve Carrell and Sia are all thought to live nearby.
The 9,655-square-foot home in Toluca Lake boasts of a traditional white wooden kitchen with black granite worktops and chequerboard flooring. It also features top of the range stainless steel appliances; however, the property is unoccupied and unfurnished.
Porter’s funeral was conducted on November 24, 2018, at Evergreen Memorial Garden Cemetery in Columbus, Georgia, where she was born.
In November last year, Sean remembered his late ex-girlfriend as she would have turned 50 in December.
He posted a clip with a montage of he and the late Porter, writing: ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY @ladykp. Words can’t explain how much we miss you but today is your birthday. We’re celebrating you today! We love and we miss you!!!!!’
