EKSG Committed To Quality Healthcare Service Delivery- Commissioner
The Ekiti State Commissioner for Health and Human Services in Dr Oyebanji Filani has said that the government was leaving no stone unturned in its efforts at ensuring a healthy people noting that a healthy people would translate to a productive citizens
Dr Filani stated this at the development of 2021 Ekiti State Saving a million lives program for results work plan/state steering committee meeting in Ado-Ekiti.
The commissioner noted that the save one million lives intervention has helped in executing some legacy projects across the state which has transformed the lives of Ekiti residents.
Earlier in his remarks, the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Health and Human Services Mr Akinjide Akinleye commended the management of Save a Million lives for
properly coordinating the activities of the programme for the expected results.
The Program Manager of the intervention Dr Funmi Ibikunle stressed that her team has been working to attain the fulfillment of the goal of the program in Ekiti state.
“Our goal is to ensure universal access to an essential package of care for women and children under age 5 years in Ekiti state “. She stated.
Dr Ibikunle appreciated the government for providing an enabling environment as well as financial support for the Saving one million lives program to achieve its mandate of the State Government.
