Ekiti Ministry Of Health Celebrates Immediate Past Permanent Secretary
The Commissioner for Health and Human Services Dr Oyebanji Filani has commended health workers in Ekiti state for their relentless efforts in providing good and quality health services to the residents.
Dr. Filani gave the commendation at an event organized by the ministry to celebrate the immediate past Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Health and Human Services Dr Folakemi Olomojobi.
The Commissioner said that the gesture was to appreciate Dr Olomojobi for her dedication, hardwork and commitment to duty during her stay at the ministry.
“Having worked with four permanent secretaries at the federal level, I can boldly say that Dr Olomojobi stands out. In all our conversations and engagements, she is there technically, administratively and institutionally “. He noted.
Earlier, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Health and Human Services Mr Akinjide Akinleye noted that it was a glorifying thing to work in a place without blemish and also be celebrated.
Mr Akinleye noted that Dr Olomojobi has paid her dues in the health sector of the state and he wished her well in all her future endeavours.
Dr Folakemi Olomojobi expressed deep appreciation to the commissioner and the management staff for the recognition of her service in the ministry.
Dr Olomojobi disclosed that she enjoyed a great working relationship with the staff of the Ministry which led to great achievements. She stated:
“The Honorable commissioner is a great Ekiti son that we all need to make maximum use of his values and tap from his wealth of experience. Working with you has been a great experience”.
She pledged her continued support for the staff and the Ministry adding that Ministries of Health and Education are like twin brothers that needs one another to survive.
Dr Olomojobi was the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of health and Human service between December 2018 and February 2021. She is currently at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
Some of the Directors of the Ministry Mrs Sola Gbenga-Igotun, Dr. Olasunkanmi Alabi and Pharmacist Adetunji Kolawole described Dr Olomojobi as a brilliant, assertive, committed and result oriented boss that has brought great achievements to health sector of the state.

in her future endeavors.
