Coronavirus Hits Abuja; FIRS staff, Two Others Test Positive, 7 Others In Lagos

Three persons have tested positive to COVID-19 in Nigeria’s Federal capital territory, FCT, Abuja

The index case was one of the passengers on a British Airways flight that landed on March 13, 2020.

The index case was also said to be an official of the Federal Inland Revenue Service.

The three patients are now at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada.

The Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire on his twitter handle stated that 10 new cases of Coronavirus have been recorded in Nigeria including the three in Abuja.

He said that the remaining seven are in Lagos.
