Lagos Flags Off Weekend Lectures For Intending Pilgrims
Lagos State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has scheduled Sunday 14th April for inaugural lecture for 2019 Hajj intending pilgrims.
The Board Secretary, Ishola Rahman who stated this while briefing members of Staff on preparation for 2019 hajj exercise, added that the exercise will hold at the Old Secretariat Central Mosque GRA, Ikeja.
Ishola said that intending pilgrims across the 20 local governments and 37 local council development areas of the state have been invited to the lecture in order to acquaint them with the dos and don’ts of hajj and to enrich them with the required knowledge that will enable them to perform acceptable hajj.
Ishola declared that the lecture which will begin by 12 noon is compulsory for all Lagos State intending pilgrims.
He also disclosed that the lecture will provide the opportunity for the pilgrims to meet their coordinators and other co-pilgrims for the purpose of networking and chatting the way forward for the hajj exercise.
The Board Secretary stated further that intending pilgrims are advised to take the lecture seriously as informed scholars will be on ground to give them the required information about hajj exercise.
Meanwhile he appealed to intending pilgrims to complete their payments and submit their forms for processing as Biometric capturing will begin soon.
