Man 58, Defiles 14- year Old Daughter
The Lagos State Police command said it has arrested a 58 year old father, Johnson Okon, saying he is currently being investigated by the gender unit of Lagos State Police Command for defiling her 14-year old daughter.
Okon who resides at Charismatic road, Abule, Berger, Ikorodu area of Lagos was paraded by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi on Tuesday at Police headquarter, Ikeja, Lagos.
He said she reported the incident to her mother who did not believed her and warned her not to tell anybody.
“Because of her mother’s inaction, she ran away from home and sought for refuge in the home of her father’s friend.
He said the victim has been referred to Mirabel. Centre for medical examination.
The police said the unit is also investigating another case of defilement that occurred. In Ikorodu area of the state which was reported by one Mrs Obinna, 37 year old living in Ikorodu about her six year old daughter against one Habib Abdullahi, who is a 64-year old, Carpenter of the same address.
He said investigation revealed that, on December 3.2018 at about 1000hrs, the suspect took the victim into his room and inserted his manhood into her private part.
Edgal further explained that when her mother noticed that her daughter was unnecessarily irritated and withdrawn she began to ask her questions.
“She revealed to the mother what uncle Abdullahi has done to her. Meanwhile, investigation is ongoing, the suspect will be charge to court soon.’’
