Drop Your Guber Ambition, Senator Ogbuorji Urged

Chief Michael Ama Nnachi has urged Vice Chairman Senate Committee on
Appropriation and senator representing Ebonyi south zone in the
senate, Sonni Ogbuorji to drop his governorship ambition and support
the State Governor, Chief Dave Umahi for his reelection.
Ogbuorji, a two term senator who defected to the All Progressives
Congress(APC) last year, had last week declared his intention to
contest the 2019 governorship election under APC.
Umahi also hails from south senatorial zone where Ogbuorji comes from.
But Nnachi who is contesting Ebonyi south senatorial election in next
year’s general elections vowed that the people will retire Ogbuorji
politically if he goes ahead to challenge Umahi in 2019
“As far as I am concerned, I will make sure Ogbuorji
doesn’t come back to power. I will make sure he doesn’t even win in
Ebuwanna where he comes from.
“Everybody should support Engr. Dave Umahi for his second term bid to
continue the massive projects he has embarked upon on assumption of
office, nobody especially from our zone should be a stumbling block to
our Governor’s re-election.
“Everybody should support our governor. I am even afraid after his
eight years whether we will have somebody like him who has large
heart.
He also told some of the south senatorial aspirants to stop parading
themselves as anointed aspirants.
“Nobody should claim he is an anointed candidate because we are all
contesting. I have come out to make sure that Ebonyi south is
delivered to PDP”, Nnachi said.
