All is set for the 5th edition of the annual Nigeria Impact Awards as partners, nominees, sponsors as well as expectant guests look forward to the November 27, 2016 event.
The coordinator of the event, Emeka Nwaneri, said during a chat with some journalists in Lagos on the award that it is set to “shake Lagos”.
A former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Dimeji Bankole, is expected as the Special Guest Speaker.
Bankole will speak on: “Executive-Legislative mutual relations: Panacea for nation’s development.”
On the other hand, Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode, is the Chief Host and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon, Yakubu Dogara, is the Special Guest of Honour.
Expected for the award ceremony is the Sokoto State Governor, Mallam Aminu Tambuwal; the Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi; and six members of the National Assembly.
Also expected for the awards is Chief Sade Okoya; Princess Toyin Kolade; the Ogun State Head of Service, Elder Sola Adeyemi, and many brands, entertainers and society bigwigs.
The host the award night is famous comedian, MC Ajele, and sultry Nolyywood actress, Doris Simeon.
According to information on the invitation cards, the award event holds at R&A City Hotels, Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos and the red carpet and cocktail party starts by 2pm.
