International businessman and former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Kalu, has congratulated the newly-elected President of the United States of America and candidate of the Republican party, Donald Trump, on his victory.
According to the Forbes-rated billionaire, the duo of Trump and Clinton deserve accolades for demonstrating maturity and patriotism from electioneering to post-election era, noting that their actions are worth emulating by other politicians in the global community.
In a statement personally signed by Kalu and made available to the media on Wednesday, he said: “I wish to congratulate American citizens all over the world on the success of the United States Presidential Election, more importantly President- elect Donald Trump on his victory at the poll.
“I would also like to extend my goodwill to Mrs. Hilary Clinton of the Democratic Party for her resilience, focus and commitment before and after the election.
“The United States Presidential Election is commendable and as such, the political class should imbibe the virtues of the duo of Trump and Clinton in their political pursuits.”
The Nigerian business mogul urged the US president-elect to strengthen diplomatic, business, political and social ties with other countries of the world.
While felicitating with the United States on the successful conduct of the election, Kalu urged other presidential candidates to cooperate with Trump in steering the affairs of the US.
